Welcome to Lakeland Chalet – 4 star holiday apartments in the Lake District

Grange-over-Sands Self Catering Holiday Accommodation. For an affordable holiday stay in the Lake District look no further than our self catering apartments.
Grange-over-Sands is an Edwardian resort in the Lake District and Morecambe Bay, 15 minutes from Lakeside for the Lakes. It offers one of the mildest climates in the North. Grange-over-Sands offers a traffic-free promenade with ornamental gardens, a duck pond, golf courses, brass band concerts and vantage points for bird watching as well as many other attractions.

The Chalet is a detached house offering three self catering flats/apartments/cottages to visitors and guests. Built in the 1920s and our holiday home for over ten years, we are delighted to welcome guests into one of our three, 4 star self catering apartments. Experience the best views in Grange-over-sands, overlooking Morecambe bay and within a 15 minute drive to the main Lakes, the Chalet self catering apartments really does offer everything for your holiday. The Chalet has a large gardens spread across three levels with patio area with the most splendid views over Morecambe Bay. Garage & off-road parking is available. Railway station within a mile with regular services to Barrow-in-Furness, Lancaster and beyond. Short stays available. No pets.

A cosy, comfortable clean and well equipped flat with magnificent views over Morecambe Bay. An excellent starting point to explore the Lakes from. The location also offers excellent cardio – vascular exercise. Would highly recommend this flat and would certainly return in the future.

This flat is lovely, we were so pleased to have booked it. It is situated up a hill from the town, only a few minutes walk, but the views of the bay from the kitchen window and garden are amazing. 
The flat was perfect for one or two people and spotlessly clean, it contained everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The garden is a picture and beautifully cared for.
We absolutely loved this place and hope very much to return.

We stayed at the Chalet the last week in September in warm and sunny weather. The views over the estuary are breathtaking – especially at sunrise or when it’s harvest moon! We enjoyed a variety of beautiful walks from our doorstep and it was always a pleasure to come back at the end of the day to this excellent accommodation where all our needs were met.
