The Chalet is a detached house offering three self catering flats/apartments/cottages to visitors and guests. Built in the 1920s and our holiday home for over ten years, we are delighted to welcome guests into one of our three, 4 star self catering apartments.

Spent 8 nights at the Garden Chalet – a lovely place with amazing views from the patio. Great base for exploring the Lake District, with hikes, walks, and nearby villages like Cartmel and Arnside. Shops are close by, including a Spar, a Chinese takeaway, and an excellent butcher (the chicken curry pie is a must!). Peter, the owner, called to check in and was very helpful. Garage parking is tight, but there's more space on Highfield Road if you don’t mind a short walk. A great holiday overall!

Yet another lovely stay at this studio apartment. We couldn't have been better looked after – fresh cake and a bottle of wine on arrival, and we were invited to help ourselves to vegetables growing fresh in the garden. Highly recommend! The only downside was the weather, but it didn’t stop us from having a great holiday. We’ll be back.

We stayed in the Tides Flat and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful break. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Waking up to views over Morecambe Bay was a real treat. A perfect spot for relaxing after days exploring the Lakes. Would definitely return!

Great base for visiting the Lake District! The Chalet is just a short drive from Windermere, and we loved being able to come back to the quiet charm of Grange. The Garden Flat was cosy and comfortable, and having parking was a real bonus. Highly recommend for couples or solo travellers.

The Studio Flat was lovely – bright, spacious, and with everything you need. We really appreciated the welcome treats and the friendly call from the owner to check we’d settled in okay. It’s the little things that make a big difference. Will be recommending to friends and family!

We had a wonderful weekend at Lakeland Chalet. The garden is beautiful and the view from the patio is just stunning. It’s so peaceful – exactly what we needed to unwind. Shops and takeaways are just around the corner, which made everything easy. A hidden gem!
